1. Afternoon Tea

Where I come from tea is iced and sweet, and by sweet I mean sweet enough to put you into a diabetic coma. Gotta love that southern living. This week it has been rainy and muggy, and what I consider to be hot tea weather. This craving of mine may not last through the summer, but I am definitely enjoying it now. Besides, who doesn't enjoy a beverage that is intended to be paired with cookies?

Yesterday's outfit post was paired with my trusty tan umbrella, and I really think it pulled the whole thing together. This had me searching through Chictopia to find ladies who know how to accessorize while protecting themselves from the elements.

If you are too young to know each and every one of these, please don't tell me. I'm not in the mood to feel old this weekend. I loves ALL of these, and wish I could buy them all in DVD box sets.

We don't have lightning bugs in my part of Florida. It makes me jealous... perhaps jealous enough to take an impromptu road trip with the boy? Perhaps.

I picked up one of these thrifting this week, and I can see it quickly working it's way into my wardrobe. The fabrics often seem fall and winter appropriate, but I like the idea of these paired with white cotton sundresses and clashing floral prints.
