Sunshine of your love


Five Things I Love Friday; These are my current obsessions.


1. Dandelions

I chased one of these down last week, and I have been wishing for more ever since. It is exciting to spread these weeds by sending them off into the wind. My favorite thing about them is that Chris (my boyfriend, for new readers) thinks they are my favorite flower. I look forward to the day he tries to fetch me a bouquet of them

Random craving of the week. I am nervous about buying marshmallow fluff though. I feel like it will begin with one fluffernutter sandwich, and end with me eating the remainder of  the tub with a spoon.


3. Top Hats

My accessories closet is in desperate need of a top hat. I may never wear it out in public, but it would be perfect for styling vintage party dresses. Who am I kidding? I would wear it out all the time.

Vacation time! I am booking a trip to visit my friend Kat (Katdaddy Doll Face, if you are feeling formal) in Colorado late next month. I should have booked it Monday, but time has gotten away from me. Sorry Kat. Anyway, I ruined my vintage carry on bag with a tiny exploding bottle of conditioner last year. Now I am in search of a replacement. Look at all these perfect options.

  2. I just spotted a few huge (biggest I've ever seen!) dandelions on the side of the road the other day. I'm planning a sneak attack on them this weekend. Also I am the same with the fluffer nutter...too hard to resist.

    I have turtles and regret not taking cute photos of them when they were so tiny. =( Now they are just big ole stinky 3 year olds. meh. What a cute little guy! It melts my heart. =) Have a nice weekend!

  8. love the dandelions so much! it always reminds me of when i was little and went home from school and i used to collect as much of them as i could to spread as much as i can :)

  12. I love dandelions! I did painting of them that hung above my bed for months (until my indecisive mind replaced it with the Eiffel Tower). The one on the refrigerator is awesome!

  17. I like dandelions/dandelion puffs for pictures, but otherwise they're so annoying and you can't get rid of them! I've actually never heard of a fluffernutter sandwich...but I have a feeling it must be delicious. Looks very interesting.

  25. Oh I passed up blowing on a dandelion last evening and I totally regretted it the rest of the night. Next one gets it! And yes to wearing a top hat all the time, I wear my bowler quite often.
