I spent today thrifting like a champ. Around these parts thrifting is more of a sport than a hobby. At least you would think so with all the sprinting and elbow throwing I do. Note to self: A wrap knee skirt and wooden shoes are not ideal for battling the elderly for polyester, and chasing down hipsters reaching for sequins. Lesson learned.
It's put down the caftan and no one gets hurt Wednesday,

Cool skirt! You find amazing pieces on your thrift outings. The best way to distract the elderly is to let them know you found a cool (insert item here) on the opposite side of the store for a nickel. They'll drop the object of your desire fast and head in that direction at lightening speed! You have to say a nickel, though since it's old timey. They'll believe you for certain! :)
ReplyDeleteLoove the print of that skirt!! Makes me think of the EAC in Finding Nemo, haha

That skirt has such a neat and vibrant print on it! I love those shoes you wore with it so so much! Thrifting can indeed be a bit of a battle! I battle people in thrift stores regularly; at least in my mind I'm battling them to a certain piece or section!
