Five Things I love Friday; These are my current obsessions.
1. My Dad
My dad is the man, and this 5 Things I Love Friday blog is dedicated to him.

2. Boat Shoes
My dad rocks deck shoes all the time. He doesn't do boats, though.... What a hipster. I only have one pair right now, but I am always on the thrifting hunt for some colorful ones.
3. Rainy Days

I've never met a person who enjoys a rainy day as much as my father. His happiness is contagious when it is pouring out, and it always has been.
4. The Best Advice
During teenage (and 20 something) heartbreak, my father has always been the best at giving advice about men. This "All men are bastards.." advice, via the movie French Kiss is actually his only advice about men. It has never failed me though.
5. Pie

Pie! Pie is its own food group in my family. In fact my father will judge people harshly if they do not have a favorite pie. If he ever asks you, make one up if you aren't sure. (Mine is lemon meringue.)
