Peter Pan Collars always make me think of my childhood OBSESSION with Peter Pan. (The musical, not the cartoon.) That was the movie I could watch on repeat three times a day, everyday, all summer long. Looking at it as an adult, I really feel like constantly watching a woman in her forties playing a ten year old boy probably caused me psychological damage. Seriously, that's just not right.
It's well that explains a lot about you Tuesday,
XO Robyn

Are you talking about the one with Mary Martin? If so, I watched that one all the freakin time when I was little...I saw it again a year or two back and I've gotta say that it was really strange, like you said, haha. At least now maybe we've found the source of our psychological problems.

Peter pan collars are adorable. I remember watching Peter Pan, haha, I can see your point... The Birds movie startled me as a child, now I look at it and laugh. Love everything about this outfit. :)
ReplyDeleteHa Ha! I guess one of the only good things that came out of Peter Pan were the collars then :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous outfit! I haven't seen Peter Pan in years and I've never seen the musical! I must. :D
ReplyDeleteFabulous - love this outfit! I love how you styled it with the brogues and that amazing bag.
ReplyDeleteI love this look, I do :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes the movies we love as children are deep traumatizing. It's disturbing really. Also, I don't know why I am just noticing this now but your hair looks longer. Sorry, I think I'm really off the ball this week.

ReplyDeleteI've seen that movie tons of times. My brother was the one who was obsessed with it, but with only one tv I had to watch a lot of his movies.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous outfit! I love the collar and the stripes! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI used to watch the Peter Pan musical all the time, too. I even saw a stage production of it a few years ago. Do go if you ever get the chance! Sometimes I catch myself singing the songs out of the blue ;)
