I just want a little bit more time. There are those days that you cannot wait to crawl into bed and end. I have not had one in a while. I am all over the place, and could just use a few more hours in every day. If someone knows how to make that happen (without the use of illegal substances) hook a blogger up.

Fall transition pieces to the rescue. If I am going to wear long sleeves in this 90 degree heat, at least they will be ventilated. Now to invest in bars I don't mind exposing to the public. Wow. That sounded all kinds of wrong.

3. Cartoon Villains

I am already thinking about halloween costumes, and I am leaning toward cartoon villains. No naughty nurses or lingerie clad cats for this girl. I have already been Cruella, and it was kind of epic. (in my own mind.) Black and white hair, a glam gown, and red lipstick? Yes please. I am definitely feeling Maleficent a la sleeping beauty right now. However, pretty much any of the ladies above will do. Why do female villains always have killer purple eye makeup? It is clearly the source of their evil super-powers.

No, not the ultra fitted Old Navy kind. I want 80s vintage, oversized, boyfriend fitting blazers. Think Designing Women, minus the shoulder pads and southern accents. Robyn Sugerbaker will be pairing these with skinny jeans and high waisted shorts. Warn your friends.

5. Tee Pees

I still want to go camping. Why is no one taking me camping? The longer this goes on the crazier my camping demands will be. First it was just smores and tents. Now I require a tee pee. It's clearly your fault if this gets anymore out of hand.

That's right. I couldn't even go a day without wearing my new purse. I know I lack self control. My candy addiction has made that very clear to me over the years. 

When I was out and about this morning in my floral blazer I felt very much like Julia Roberts in this scene from Notting Hill. Why she wore those awkward mom jeans as a mid-nineties movie star is still beyond me.

Now that I am back home, I won't lie to you. My ensemble looks much more like this. What is it about a bodysuit that makes me feel like I could break out into a tumbling pass at any moment. Note, this is only the outfit talking. I am fully aware of my two left feet, and inability to more than a cartwheel without doing serious bodily harm.

Living room wall update.

When beer and yarn art combine, how can that be bad?

This cross stitch hoop wasn't actually thrifted. I picked it up in Alexia's etsy shop Ruggles Stitch.

So cute. 

You can never have too many awkward ceramic animals. I shall name him Claus.

My army green jacket! It took a long time for my thrifting karma to kick in on this one.

New purse. Be prepared to see it in a ridiculous amount of outfit pics before I get around to selling it.
