The story: I was wearing this outfit with regular brown boots this morning when I casually brought up my red cowboy boots to the boy. He laughed, and made a joke about me "pulling them off" a la Ted Mosby. I should mention here that we watch A LOT of How I Met Your Mother. Anyway, I responded "Challenge accepted" and immediately changed into my awesome cowboy boots. Now I bet he feels silly.

Today was a much needed day off for me, so outfit pics were just not going to happen. Instead, here are some random photos from my dying iPhone. Note: Dropping your iPhone repeatedly on tile flooring does affect picture quality. Who knew?

My boyfriend was kind enough to text me a picture of the sunrise instead of waking me up to see it. I love you too.

OWL MUG! It makes coffee (and often wine) so much cuter.

This is Solange the big metal chicken. She is a smaller and less impressive version of Beyonce, The Bloggess' big metal chicken. (An awesome Xmas gift from my siblings.)

Solange is unbeatable at staring contests.

I pulled a classic Robyn move and bashed my leg into my own car door on Wednesday. Since I am so used to leg bruises I didn't even flinch, and just went right into a thrift store. After 10 minutes of shopping and profuse bleeding, I looked down to see blood on the blouse I was holding. I guess it's a keeper now since even after cleaning it just seems wrong to sell. Clumsiness score.

Oh, hello there. Remember me? Time to come clean. I am beyond exhausted. A lot has gone on in my life recently, and I'm doing my best just to hold it together. For weeks my blog has suffered for that, and every attempt to get my blogging schedule back to normal has failed miserably. High fives. I don't accept blog sponsors at this time, so I basically blog for free. If I only have the energy and time to keep this or my vintage shop up and running, I am obviously going to choose the one that pays my rent. Although being a homeless blogger would be an interesting twist. Anyway, just know that I am working on it.

The boy is sick. Normally that would mean that I am also sick, or that I was sick last week, or that I will be sick any minute now. Not the case. I have managed to avoid this one due to a cocktail of yellow gatorade, vitamin c, unnecessary Nyquil, and sleeping on the couch. Fingers crossed that a few more nights on the couch will keep me in the clear.

Spoiler: This is actually what I wore yesterday. Today is a holiday, which means I reluctantly got dressed at noon. "Dressed" meaning cut offs, a vintage T, Toms, no makeup, and a cocktail, thank you very much. It's not that I don't want you ladies to see me in today's ensemble. It's more that I don't trust myself with a camera when alcohol and kiddie pools are involved.

Oh hello there. Twitch Vintage shop updates will now be on Tuesday nights. This was necessary so that I could add sleep back into the middle of my week. I knew you would understand.

Since I don't have the shop to update tonight, and the boy drove off with my camera remote in his trunk this morning (waves fist threateningly in the air), I figured I would keep you posted on my side project Twitch Tots. It has been one month since the launch, and I am beyond happy. I have made sales, met wonderful etsy sellers, and done irreparable damage to my biological clock. 1. Boys In Bow Ties

The boy and I made an agreement when we first started dating that we would not let our relationship change the way we dress. I can still wear heels that make me too tall, and he can still wear khaki cargo shorts. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I will never get him to wear a bow tie in a casual way. Sigh.
